How you play Baldi's Basics

You start at school and have to look for the notebooks in different classrooms. You need to solve the math questions in each notebook. If you answer correctly, Baldi will move more slowly. If you answer incorrectly, he will move faster and be more dangerous.

You will come across different things in the school that can help you stay alive, block your way, or give you time to get out. While managing limited resources and planning their exit routes, players must look around the school, solve problems, and stay away from different characters.

To stay out of trouble, you should always be aware of what's going on around you, listen carefully for sound signs, and make a route plan.

Different types of tasks can be found in the two main game modes.

The objective in Story Mode is to get all seven papers and leave the school. More notebooks mean more tough levels because Baldi moves faster as you collect them.

The goal of Endless Mode is to get as many notebooks as you can without getting caught. This mode is all about staying alive and getting high scores, so players should try to stay as long as they can.
