Planet Merge is a puzzle game based on the classic merging gameplay. Instead of matching fruits or normal goods this time you will be working with planets. The basic objective is to position similar planets correctly so that they merge into a larger planet.
At first it’s all fairly easy to get used to. “You just have to look at the planets that come up and figure out how to make them fit. But the playing area is not usually large. If you just put the planets down without thinking about it, they will quickly fill up all the space and making it harder to make matches later on.
What makes Planet Merge fun is that a single match might open up possibilities for several other matchups. When a bigger planet appears the region around it changes as well, so you have to think ahead where to put the new planets.
Instead of just pairing up the existing pairings, look at the whole area and try to see a few additional moves. Sometimes keeping a gap is a lot more valuable than trying to accomplish a minor merging.

Search for twin planets
Look at the planets on the screen and decide which groups can be joined together. Favour openings which will generate greater room after merger.
Positioning
Placement of the planes directly affects the next turns. If you can get similar planets closer together, don’t place them too far away.
Combine chains
Successful merging can lead to further merging. Good planning will allow you to set up continuous merging chains and unlock big planets quickly.
Always think of the whole area before you put a planet.
Try to leave some room for more easy manoeuvring.
Don’t restrict yourself to combining the present.
Look for moves that will form merging chains.
If space is getting tight, please make additional room before continuing.
Planet Merge is a basic game but the more you play the more strategic thinking is involved. Any new planet that comes into play can turn the whole table around. Arrange things carefully. Combine planets at the proper time. See how huge of a globe you can make.
