Mars Jump

Mars Jump is a skill-based, challenging, casual platformer game that takes you to the surface of Mars to control an astronaut on a succession of platforms. The character uses a jetpack to bounce off each platform and soar to the next. But it is difficult to control the trajectory in the low gravity of Mars. A harsh or improper angle landing can lead you to crash.

Mars Jump will take you to Mars

The thing that is remarkable about Mars Jump is the jetpack control system and the requirement for precision landings. Hold left arrow or A to power left engine, right arrow or D to power right engine. Holding both keys will slow the character's fall, allowing time to prepare for landing.

Jet fuel is a finite resource, hence the engine cannot be run constantly. Short, controlled pushes are more fuel efficient. After every move check where's the next platform and change course before it's too late.

Jetpack Controls

Use A/D or arrows to change your flight direction. To slow your descent, use both engines at the same time.

Fuel Efficiency

Use the jetpack only when you really need to. If you handle each short burst, you will save yourself the fuel to get to the next platform.

Accurate landing

This is the most essential part of a Mars jump. Change your speed and angle of fall to make a soft landing. If you die, you will be re-spawned at the closest checkpoint.

Don’t hold the jetpack down unless you have to.

Launchings are to be seen on the following platform.

Use both engines to manage your rate of fall.

Don't fly too far, but land safe.

Use checkpoints to get used to tricky bits.
