Catdoku is a puzzle game inspired by Sudoku and other Queens-type logic games, but instead of filling in the common numbers, you have to locate the right places to put the cats on the board. The guidelines are relatively easy, but later on it will demand more thought to discover the right placements.
Each level is split into multiple parts of different colours. You have to put the right amount of cats according to the rules of the board , but they have to not be in the same row , or column , or even touch each other in the corners. So, players have to remove each wrong tile instead of guessing to obtain the answer.
The intriguing part with Catdoku is that one option can impact many other places. If you place a cat you should not be able to place another cat in the same row or column . You also have to delete adjacent squares (including diagonally adjacent ones) from the list of alternatives.
So every step of the answer is a chain of reasoning. Having a fixed position helps you find the next location without guessing blindly.

Find places with few options
Check the other coloured regions, rows and columns. Good places to start are often areas with only one or a few cells that could potentially place a cat.
Filter out bad cells
If you place a cat, check the row, column and adjacent cells right away. Eliminating unusable spots will make the board simpler to see.
Don’t guess where the cat will be
“A cell that appears to be good is not necessarily the answer. Make sure all circumstances are met before putting down a cat, so that further actions do not get disrupted.
Select rows, columns or coloured ranges that have few blank cells.
Don’t forget to examine the diagonally adjacent cells as well.
Scan the entire relevant area after each cat placement.
You don't need to solve them top to bottom
If you are stuck, try a different region for more hints.
Catdoku presents puzzles that are gentle but tough, so you'll want to think each move through carefully. If you prefer Sudoku, logic puzzles, or just games with cute cat themes, this is a very fun option.
