Blockader is an action-building game where players can explore a territory and use blocks to their benefit. It's not only about how far you go but also you need to look around and ponder before putting down each brick.
What’s interesting about Blockader is how the construction directly affects mobility. You can use blocks that appear on the map to create paths, block harmful regions, or change the way you approach a location.
In the beginning everything can go really well. But reflexive running won’t be enough as more obstacles arise on the landscape. You have to think a few moves ahead so that you don't put yourself in a bad spot.

Before you move, look ahead to see where things are and where you can move to. This prevents you from acting on impulse.
Timing block placement might open up additional space or cover a perilous route. Think about the goal of each placement instead of willy-nilly.
You don’t have to choose a path. If you bump into an obstruction, try to go in another direction, or use the blocks around you to discover an alternative way through.
Look before you leap into a new region.
Always have a secondary direction to travel in.
Instead of putting blocks, you can use blocks for support.
Don’t invade your own space of movement.
If you fail, think about the challenging position and try another way.
Blockader features a gameplay style that mixes reflexes with rapid thinking. The more you play, the easier it is to find the appropriate technique; every properly placed block can radically affect how you go through a region.
